Our world today seems bent on self-destruction. Corporate scandals, and character assassination are direct results of a society captivated by the idea that there are no real absolutes. However, “God’s Word stands sure.” The Bible, which is the inspired Word of God, soundly espouses those absolutes that have stood the tests of time. In a day like the present, no Book is more hope-filled than the one that contains the Holy Scriptures.
At Easley Bible Methodist Church, we are committed to the Words of God. They are life to the soul. We are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we insist on the salvation of the lost, and the edification of the Christian.
Our music, prayer life, preaching, and fellowship, all point us to one supreme Person - the Person of Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, Who takes away the sins of the world, and Who is coming again. In Him alone we find the hope of eternal life.
As the Psalmist once said, “Come thou with us, and we will do thee good.” We look forward to the opportunity of helping people to know Jesus Christ, and to reach their highest potential in HIM.Sincerely,
Terry D. Going, Pastor
